Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before enrolling in our programmes.
Application
- •Enrolment is based on a first-come-first-served basis.
- •The Academy reserves the right to cancel, shorten, postpone or transfer any classes at its reasonable discretion – any classes cancelled by the Academy will be credited with make-up classes with a validity period of six (6) months, subject to class availability.
- •Classes falling on Gazetted Public Holiday or Academy Closures are eligible for (1) make-up classes to be used within the current or subsequent term.
- •The Academy reserves the right to cancel, postpone or make necessary changes (e.g. coach/instructor, contents, fees, class schedules) to any of the classes.
- •Confirmation letter will be sent (via email) or delivered by hand when each application is confirmed.
- •All applications for enrolment for our training programmes will be communicated via email.
- •All applications for enrolment are to be accompanied with duly completed forms, and payment of one-time processing/registration fees and miscellaneous fees (for National/International programmes).
Payment
- •All payments are to be made in SINGAPORE DOLLARS. We accept the following payment methods: Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayNow, and Online Banking.
- •Payment of all fees and any application fees (where applicable) will be made seven (7) days prior to the commencement of classes.
- •Miscellaneous Fees (for National/International programmes) are one-time student fees that help meet essential costs including on-boarding, equipment maintenance, facility upgrades, and coach training. These fees are NON-REFUNDABLE in all circumstances.
- •Fees for the relevant training programme (the "Term Fees") shall be paid within seven (7) days prior to the commencement of such training programme. Any late payment will be subject to an extra charge of 5% of the Term Fees.
Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are NON-REFUNDABLE at all times: Registration fees, Miscellaneous fees (National/International programmes), Additional fees, Government-imposed fees, Goods and Services Tax (GST), Material fees, and all other costs incurred by the Academy as a result of the student's initial enrolment.
Transfers & Withdrawals
Programme Transfers
Transfers (from one training programme to another) will take place upon the coach(es)' evaluation of the gymnast's progress. To confirm such transfers within each relevant term, the Programme Transfer Form must be submitted to the Academy at least one (1) month prior to the expiry date of such relevant term. The Academy reserves the right to approve or reject the transfer at its discretion.
Withdrawals
Requests for withdrawals within each relevant term shall be made at least three (3) months in writing prior to the expiry date of such relevant term by submitting the Withdrawal Form to the Academy.
It is the Parent/Guardian's responsibility to ensure that, at the date of such notice for withdrawal, sufficient Term Fees have prior been paid to the Academy equivalent to three (3) months of Term Fees from the date of such notice. The Registration Fees and Miscellaneous Fees are non-refundable in the case of any withdrawal.
Termination by the Academy
The Academy may terminate any student's enrolment or continued participation/attendance in any of the Academy's training programmes at will by giving three (3) months notice in writing to the student/Parent/Guardian.
The Academy may terminate with immediate effect and with no requirement for notice if:
- •A student is guilty of any serious misconduct, serious disciplinary offence or has committed any serious breach of safety.
- •Any Parent/Guardian has intentionally caused or is intentionally causing harassment, alarm or distress to the Academy or its staff.
Code of Conduct
Parent/Guardian shall use best efforts to adhere to the Academy's Parent Involvement Policy (Parents Code of Conduct), and to guide students to abide by the Student Code of Conduct which may be updated from time to time.
Miscellaneous Terms
- •The Academy will not be responsible for any injuries sustained during lessons. Students are expected to be at their best behaviour within the Academy premises.
- •Parent/Guardian agrees to release and hold harmless the Academy from liability for any injuries which may occur, provided that the same shall not be caused by the Academy's fraud, wilful default or gross negligence.
- •Parent/Guardian is responsible for health and accident insurance and any medical costs incurred due to injury of the student.
- •Parent/Guardian grants permission for the public display of any studio visual images (photographs, videos or likeness) that the student may appear in for marketing purposes.
- •No photography is allowed during any training sessions of the Academy.
- •The Academy is the sole and exclusive owner of all music, choreography, dance or gymnastics routines, class materials and Course Information. Parent/Guardian and student agree to maintain absolute confidentiality.
- •Parent/Guardian acknowledges that the training programmes involve physical education and may entail physical contact between the student and teaching staff where necessary for teaching purposes.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed under the laws of Singapore. In the event of any dispute, parties shall submit such dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
